5 Twelve was founded in 2023 after years spent working across both in-house and agency SEO roles. During that time, one pattern became impossible to ignore, particularly on the Gold Coast.
SEO had become a “cash grab” for entrepreneurs and businesses with little to no marketing experience. Cookie-cutter packages, aggressive sales tactics, inflated fees, and long lock-in contracts had eroded trust in the industry and left many businesses burned, frustrated, and no closer to meaningful growth.
5 Twelve was built to be the opposite of that.
At its core, this is a boutique SEO consultancy designed to work alongside businesses that genuinely need SEO and are ready to approach it properly.
SEO is a powerful channel, but only when it’s treated as part of a broader strategy, not a silver bullet. That belief underpins everything we do.
Bre Davis - Director & SEO Consultant
5 Twelve is led by Bre, an SEO consultant with experience across in-house and agency environments, and a strong belief that businesses deserve better than what much of the SEO industry currently offers.
Starting the business at 24, Bre set out to build something grounded in integrity, curiosity, and real outcomes. Her approach is deeply hands-on: she works directly with every client, attends meetings in person where possible, and stays closely involved in both strategy and execution.
Outside of client work, Bre is actively involved in the SEO and business community. She co-hosts SEO Beers Gold Coast, volunteers with Fierce Females, and regularly attends Brisbane’s SEO Collective alongside other SEO events and conferences. This involvement keeps her accountable, continuously learning, and connected to the wider industry, providing insights she brings back into client strategies.
Bre is also a strong believer in collaboration. She enjoys working alongside in-house teams, developers, designers, and marketers to build well-rounded strategies that support sustainable business growth.
